As Kelly is sleeping right now, I thought I'd update blogger America as I'm sure a lot of people are wondering how this morning went. Both sides of the equation went very well this morning. Kelly uncharacteristically had lots of follicles, even more than Dr. Casey had thought possible. Twelve eggs in all, four from her right side and 8 from her left. Dr. Casey was only expecting 8 total, so that was a good thing. Although she did tell us that some of the eggs were smaller than optimal , so all probably wouldn't make it. All in all a very positive morning. With the amount of eggs being harvested so large, its a very good bet that we will have the full 5 day incubation period for the implantation according to Dr. Casey, but it wouldn't be out of the ordinary if for some reason it did go to a three. She recovered very early from the procedure, and is pretty much a waiting game for us now until Thursday afternoon at 2 pm. At that time we will know for sure if our transfer will be Friday or Sunday morning. thanks again to all for the support during this process, we truly appreciate it.

jack
