Jack just gave me my HCG shot. I had to get the shot right at 9:30pm so I think I was thinking about it all day. It was fine! He did good! I had him practice on an orange first since I had some extra syringes.
Tomorrow we will be leaving for Minnesota. We'll take the dogs to the kennel, finish up packing and then we'll be off. I think tomorrow will be a pretty low key and relaxing day. It will take us about 4 1/2 hours to get there. We'll probably unpack, grab some dinner and relax. We have to be at the clinic at 8am on Tuesday.
After the retrieval on Tuesday we'll go back to the hotel and relax for the day. I won't be able to do anything that day and possibly Wednesday depending on how I feel. We are planning to stay in MN for the week since we both have off of work anyway. We should find out Wednesday or Thursday when the transfer will be. I'm guessing that it will be Friday or Saturday but we really won't know for sure until they are able to look at the embryos. After the transfer, we'll come home that day or the following day. I'll try to keep my blog updated as much as I can from there. Meanwhile, thanks for all the prayers!
