Baseline Ultrasound

I was up bright and early this morning. My baseline ultrasound and blood work was at the clinic 30 miles away at 7:20 AM. No news to report just yet. My ultrasound did show one cyst in my right ovary but it is not "active" at this point. That just means that it was an active cyst and the Lupron and other meds are probably doing their job of quieting everything down. It is just kind of floating in the right ovary for now looking like a deflated balloon. Other than that, everything looks good. They also took my blood this morning and will test the estradiol level. All of the results, blood work and the ultrasound, will then be faxed to our IVF doctor in Minnesota. Then I should hear later this afternoon what our next step will be. Originally they had scheduled for me to start my stimulating meds on the 31st. We'll see if that is still the same. Worst case scenario they will wait for the remains of the old cyst to completely dissolve, which may take a few more days. I'll post again later today when I know more.
